COMING SOON AT JEFF STREET:

* Sunday, August 24th, any musicians interested in helping with worship are invited to join with current musicians and Amy to talk through familiar and new songs immediately following worship.

As I mentioned, our Worship Service on September 21st is going to be one you won't want to miss -- we'll hear from all of our ministry teams and learn more about this beautiful community of faith and how we can be engaged here. We will also plan to have our next Potluck Lunch Bunch on the 21st!

The Annual CLOUT listening sessions are just around the corner. Please make plans to attend the house meeting at the home of the Cooles on September 14th or the listening session following worship on September 28th. Stay tuned for more information!

OTHER AREA OPPORTUNITIES: 

On Sunday, August 24th, we're all invited to see Kelsey as a part of the Talent Show put on by DSL (Down Syndrome of Louisville) at 3pm at New Albany HS

On September 4th, the Coalition for Fair Housing is hosting a film screening and panel discussion of the film Beyond the Bridge: A Solution to Homelessness. For more information and to secure your FREE tickets please click here.

On Saturday, September 6th. We are invited to join Grace Immanuel UCC at their church at 8am to make hot dogs, baked beans, and dessert, package it up, and will head to St John Center around 10 or 10:30. There they will distribute the packages. Previously, only part of the group actually takes the packages so as to not overwhelm, but many hands and put things together. They are also collecting men's underwear, all sizes, and will add those to our care packages. It could be a fun opportunity for us to join in the good work being done by others nearby. 

AND Beyond... in the Fall we are going to have a few "experiments" to try out some things.

First of all, we're going to try a monthly Wednesday Night Potluck Supper on the 1st Wednesday of each month. The other Wednesdays we will continue to gather by Zoom and we would encourage you to join us on Zoom when you're available. Our first WNPS (Wednesday Night Potluck Supper) will be on September 3rd. Bring food to share. Who would like to assist me with that?
