October 24th 7-9pm - Youth Group at the Church!

The Next Book Group will meet Saturday, October 25 at 1:30pm at the St. Matthews branch of the library to discuss The Weight of Ink by Rachel Kadish. Copies are available at the library. November's book is Sky Full of Elephants by Cebo Campbell.

Don't forget that Voices of the 'Ville continue to gather each Saturday at 2pm at Jeff Street as a community chorus comprised of individuals both housed and unhoused. All are welcome!

Saturday, October 18th - No Kings Rally

In Louisville the No Kings Rally is scheduled for 2-5pm at The Belvedere. Let's gather as a faith community at the statue of York at 1:45pm to participate together. You can text me if you're struggling to locate us. 

Monday, October 20th - Moral Mondays (2 options)

Some will be gathering between 10am-1pm in front of Mitch McConnell's office here in Louisville. But the big action from Kentucky's Poor People's Campaign will gather at the District Courthouse in Lexington from noon-1pm. If you're available and would like to carpool or caravan to Lexington - contact Pastor Amy. 

Mark your calendar for CLOUT's Community Problems Assembly will convene on Monday, October 27th at 6:30pm at Adath Jeshurun (2401 Woodbourne Ave). This is when we listen to what has come out of the listening sessions around the city and vote on the community problem that will be the focus of the action this year. I hope you'll plan to attend. 

AND Beyond... 

We're trying monthly Wednesday Night Potluck Supper on the 1st Wednesday of each month. The other Wednesdays we will continue to gather by Zoom and we would encourage you to join us on Zoom when you're available. Our next one is scheduled for November 5th. Bring food to share. 

Saturday, November 1st those who are interested will be invited to go for an Autumn morning photo-hike together. Stay tuned for more details.
